A house you can pick up and turn round.

my3dhouse turns photographs, plans and elevations of a real building into a 3D model you can explore in a browser, correct in plain words, and publish at an address of its own. One house costs £5.

How it works

  1. You send what you have

    Photographs of the outside from as many sides as you can manage, and floor plans or elevations if they exist. Images and PDFs, any number, plus a few words about whatever the pictures cannot show.

  2. The references are read, then built

    ChatGPT studies the references and writes the house down as a structured scene: walls, roofs, windows and doors, in metres. Blender builds that scene and exports a model. The first draft arrives in about two minutes, and you can watch it go up piece by piece.

  3. You walk round it and ask for changes

    The model opens in your browser, on a phone or a desk, with nothing to install. If the porch is wrong or the brick should be render, say so in plain words and the house is rebuilt. Five edits come with every house.

  4. You publish it, if you want to

    A published house gets a web address of its own, a picture for sharing rendered from the model and, if you record one, a short film of it being built. Your photographs and plans stay private; only the model is ever shown.

It rebuilds a building that already exists, from the outside. It is an interpretation rather than a survey: dimensions are inferred from your references, so treat the result as a likeness, not a measured drawing. What happens to your uploads is set out in the Privacy Policy.

my3dhouse is made by Marcus Greenwood. It began with one house, 7LPR, and grew from there.
