Fallingwater

Frank Lloyd Wright's 1935 masterpiece for the Kaufmann family, cantilevered over the waterfall of Bear Run in the Pennsylvania woods. Ochre concrete terraces slide past a core of local sandstone; the stream runs beneath the living room. Now a museum, and the most famous private house in America.
