House on the Hill

Alison Brooks Architects' restoration and extension of a Georgian stone farmhouse near Lydney in Gloucestershire, above the Wye Valley. A dark, angular two-storey wing is set into the hillside beside the farmhouse, with walled gardens and a pool pavilion. It won RIBA House of the Year 2021.
