Rodney Walker’s single-storey West House combines broad, thin roof overhangs, exposed timber framing, clerestory windows and tall ocean-facing glazing with brick and natural wood walls. A low copper-capped chimney marks the double-sided fireplace, while brick terraces connect the house to its bluff-top lawn.
