Anne Hathaway's Cottage

The 15th-century thatched farmhouse at Shottery, near Stratford-upon-Avon, where Shakespeare's wife grew up: oak timber framing, cream plaster, red brick chimneys and an enormous golden thatch above a cottage garden.
